
Ky Nguyen won the WPT® Gardens Poker Championship for $357,380 after defeating Ryan Salunga in heads-up play for $230,000.
Ky earned his first WPT championship, and his name will be added to the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup. In addition to being proclaimed winner, he also received a straight ticket to the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas at the Wynn.

The event, which started at The Gardens Casino in Southern California and finished at HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, featured a $5250 buy-in. A total prize pool of $1,678,100 was produced with 346 contestants, and the top 44 players received cash.

The WPT Australia will take place from September 14-27, 2023, with a $8,000 buy-in for the Main Event.
